REMEMBER WHERE YOU HAVE FALLEN.

Rev.2.4 – Nevertheless, I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Rev.2.5 – Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place–unless you repent.

So many people have fallen, but only few takes time to remember where they fall, how they fall and get back. Some only knew something went wrong but don’t know what went wrong. Why others pride didn’t allow them to get back.

SIT, THINK AND REMEMBER.

So many wonders why it seems God stop taking them to the next level as usual but experiencing stagnancy or backwardness.  “Rev.2.4 – Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

YOUR FIRST LOVE.

What these represent.

1. The way and manna’s you separate from your parents. “Luke.15.11 – 13 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, “Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So, he divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living.”

2. The way and manna’s you separate from your first place of fellowship (Church). Eccl.10.4 – If the spirit of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your post; For conciliation pacifies great offenses.

3. Separation from the prophet of God assign to you, to move you forward. “Gen.13.11 – 12 Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom”.

4. Separation from a good friend. So many have separate from destiny friend and make friends with their enemies, if an enemy is your friend, you have no friend. “Eccl.4.9 – 10. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up”.

5. Separation from a business or place of work, against God’s will. “Prov.22.29 – Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”.

6. Separation from the Truth you first believe just to suit your way or fleshly desire. “Mark.16.15 – 16 And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned”.

7. Leaving the land or place God has promised to bless you. “Gen.26.1 – 3, 12, 13. And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swear unto Abraham thy father; Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:”

8. Forsaken the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and withdrawing from believing in His only begotten son (Jesus Christ our savior). 1Sam.15.23 – For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.”

Hos.4.6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

It is necessary to note your first love, where you have fallen and repent. Rev.2.5 – Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place–unless you repent.

Luke.15.17 – 20. And when he came to himself, he said, how many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

You don’t have to wait and die in that your state of life, giving unto worries and fear, all because of pride and choose to be ignorance of the TRUTH when there is room for repentance. Like the prodigal son, why not go back to your first love today. Rev.2.7 – He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

I pray for you in the name of Jesus, receive grace to overcome this state of your life.
